Granger Christian Preschool Mission and Vision

Granger Christian Preschool seeks to prepare students to impact the world through a Christ-centered education. This mission begins in the early years as young children’s minds are open to learning and discovering the world around them. Young children are active learners. They thrive in an environment in which they are given freedom to create masterpieces and works of art with a variety of media as well as natural objects; explore the world around them; and connect with Christ and others through meaningful biblical integration, dramatic play, and 21st Century learning strategies.

At Granger Christian Preschool we are committed to fulfilling our mission through our Vision to CARE:

Christ-Centered

Mark 12:30-31: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

  • Our rules, discussions, interactions, biblical integration within curriculum, and teacher training and evaluations reflect our desire to be Christ-centered.

Academically Minded

Colossians 3:23 tells us to “work at everything as though we are working for the Lord.”

  • Curriculum and instruction are aligned to NAEYC Developmentally Appropriate Practices as well as the Indiana Early Learning Foundations. Differentiated instruction and careful planning evidence our commitment to high quality academics.

Relationally Focused

Mark 12:31 states, “Love Your Neighbor as yourself.”

  • Teaching children the social skills necessary to foster loving relationships with those in their communities and world will help even our youngest learners fulfill their missions.

Excellence Driven

2 Peter 1:3 instructs, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence...”

  • Ongoing professional development enables teachers to continue learning and improving all aspects of teaching.
